Knink Uniketik specializes in the creative fabrication of ecological clothing; 100% of its production comes from transformed fabrics—either discontinued fashions or unused cuttings from diverse textile manufacturers. After meditative selection, cleaning and processing, Knink textiles become the raw material for unique fashion creations.

The designer-producer, Madame Lysandre G. Biard, Knink’s young founder and an active member of the current generation of eco-designers, infuses her collection with the values of contemporary eco-design and, most essential, with her own fashion inspirations. Her creations are eminently contemporary and a esthetically pleasurable, while being affordable and accessible for a variety of tastes.

The eco-designer conceptualizes her own patterns, decides the compatibility of diverse fabrics, cuts and sews and reconstructs, producing unique combinations of texture, form and colour, combinations which rarely exist in the same article of clothing. A continuous creative process--a new collection of transformed material for each season!

Knink’s accessories and clothing are designed primarily for today’s women, women of all ages, but women with both taste and concern for environmental issues, the economy and the plight of the textile worker. Knink collections may be seen and purchased this season in six Quebec cities.
